HAGAN expands its team and wants to think touring more broadly

In recent years, the "ski touring" has arrived in the general population. "This is exactly the opportunity we want to take advantage of. With our new, internationally experienced sales manager Florian Kollros-Farthofer, we have a real sales professional on board. Together we want to shake up the market," says Franz Siegesleuthner, Managing Director of HAGAN.

The company has set itself the goal of enabling everyone to experience the beautiful mountain world in harmony with nature. That is why HAGAN offers a wide range of ski models for beginners to professionals and is the first touring ski brand to cooperate with the climate protection organization "Protect Our Winters". With two new employees, both of whom prefer touring skis themselves in winter, HAGAN SKI wants to focus on this mission and reposition itself on the domestic market but also internationally.

"For me, HAGAN stands for freedom - because that's exactly what I experience when I'm out and about with the
BOOST 99 x POW on the road. I am convinced that there is still great potential on the market for us," explains 33-year-old Florian Kollros-Farthofer from Linz. The new marketing manager Lisa Lenzenweger also emphasizes: "With our skis we have a top product - under this condition a lot is possible!"

Thinking touring more broadly

In addition to the active support of existing markets and partners, the company continues to be fully committed to growth. Nationally as well as internationally, HAGAN SKI will expand new and existing cooperations. In order to communicate the value of HAGAN products to ski tourers, the logical step is to strengthen the sales and marketing team.

True to the vision of wanting to give everyone access to the mountains, HAGAN SKI will think more broadly about touring in the future and drive forward new partnerships. Especially in the current challenging times, ski touring is a healthy, environmentally friendly and above all sporty alternative.

HAGAN, from Antiesenhofen in Upper Austria, is an Austrian family business founded in 1924 that has specialized in touring skis since the mid-1990s. "By ski tourers for ski tourers" is the credo of Franz Siegesleuthner and his team. Today, as an innovative company, HAGAN is a leading full-service provider of well thought-out, coordinated ski touring setups (skis, bindings, skins, boots and accessories). The HAGAN pin bindings are co-designed by the HAGAN development team and produced by the Italian specialist ATK-Bindings. The HAGAN climbing skins - modern, innovative hybrid skins - are produced in Austria in cooperation with Koch Alpin/Contour. The company has been thinking and acting in a future-oriented and responsible manner with regard to its own CO2 footprint for many years.

In addition to the use of electric mobility and sustainable electricity, the family business is committed to the responsible use of resources and the mountain environment as part of the "Protect Our Winters" (POW) cooperation.
