"HAGAN hikes" - this is the motto of the new summer series, in which we are out and about with special HAGAN personalities.
The HAGAN touring ski test on the Wurzeralm has long been a fixture in the HAGAN SKI calendar.
But this year HAGAN, with Managing Director Florian Kollros-Farthofer, is also on site in summer for the first time - thanks to professional cyclist Lukas Kaufmann, who started his touring ski career right here some time ago.
Listen to it now:
The full interview with Lukas Kaufmann - about his life before his cycling career, the Race Across America and his training sessions on HAGAN touring skis.
Lukas and Florian hike together from the Wurzeralm to the Stubwieswipfel - one of the most popular ski tours in the region.
The two are accompanied by Lukas' wife Kathi and their son Paul.
Lukas gives HAGAN Wandert an insight into how he got into cycling, why he takes part in the Race Across America and why he skis touring in winter.
You can listen to the whole conversation here. ⇒
HAGAN SKI Ultra 65
Lukas is not only successful in cycling, but also in ski mountaineering.
Here he relies on the HAGAN SKI Ultra 65.
At just 700g, the HAGAN Ultra 65 is the lightest touring ski from HAGAN SKI and complies with the SKIMO Austria basic regulations and the ISMF Sporting Rules & Regulations.
You can find more impressions of the interview with Lukas Kaufmann here.
HAGAN hikes the summer series with Andy Holzer, Josef Wittibschlager, Tina Fischl and Hubs Lindner.
